sidenote...

Hey, just encouraging people to check out all my blogs. ;) Great. Even though there's not much to see since I'm not very good at keeping up with this....

My life of procrastination!

Well, it can be obviously seen that I'm not exactly the best when it comes to keeping up with these type of things. But that's because I figure I have nearly zilch to write about. So how about I just start writing and we'll see what comes of it.
So, I found out today that I have strep throat. Which totally whomps because I'm not allowed to go to school tomorrow, which will make me get behind on my work. (Call me a nerd, it's true!) I detest making up assignments. And I think we have a lab in chemistry, which will be the worst to make up. And I think I'm just going to stop talking about that so I don't make myself miserable.
Guess what? I finally got a phone! I feel so wickedly awesome and cool now. And it's a pretty phone, which makes me super happy also. :D Even though I only have, like, two people who ever text me for any reason other than school or such. Oh well! Life is good!
So, my 5-month-old niece looks like a little fat old man. Minus the man part....and the old part.... Mainly she's just fat. I've got a new nickname for her-tuber. As in tuberculosis-as in coughing up blood. My other niece rammed a syringe down tuber's throat and made her cough up some blood. :( Sad story. Therefore, she is now tuber. The funny part is that she totally looks like a tuber. It's kinda pathetic. But that's okay-she's still stinking cute!
Hmmm.....You want to hear something crazy? We had a "standard's night" for the youth of my church a couple of weeks ago. And my stake president went up in front of everybody, said he felt he had to be blunt, and told us that we couldn't kiss anybody anymore! Unless we knew it was the person we would marry, which means that it would have to be an RM! I guess I could understand him telling us not to kiss so often and such, but nothing at all? For years? I really don't know if I can do it....yikes. I feel bad for saying that, but it's true. :P I don't know, maybe I'll give it a try for a while though......maybe. ;)
Well, it's getting late, so I think I'm going to close. Good night everybody!

Just for you, Josh

Okay, so Josh is nagging me to get a move on with this whole blog thing. But I really can't think of a single thing to write about that would be worth reading and I wouldn't mind being shared. Maybe someday I'll write something oober personal, but for now, I think I'm just going to stick to the basic stuff that nobody actually reads! Yay, fun!

So, what's going on in my life right now? Well, there are sixteen more days until the California trip for choir (which Josh will be missing). To put it really lightly, I'm pretty much get high just thinking about it. Do you want to hear a little dose of child abuse here? I've never seen the ocean. I've never even been to California! Hello, mom! I'm fifteen and still haven't been. What have I been doing with my life? Want to hear a little bit more? I've never ridden on a plane either. And I don't have a cell phone. My mom says I don't need one until I "start driving and going places". (Which is still a little less than a half a year!!!) And yet she complains whenever I'm somewhere and she can't get ahold of me. Then get this, she has a phone, but never answers it and has dropped both that she's ever had into water!

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love my mom. She's my best friend ever. But she's probably the biggest ditz I know. *sigh* Oh well, love her anyways. But really, I have to work hard to have any type of social life without a phone. It's extremely frustrating. And quite embarrassing. I see ten-year-olds with phones. And every time that happens, I die a little bit more inside. Seriously people, what is a simple child going to do with a phone? I'm really curious....

Hmm, well, I really don't know what else to write, but I'll find something and post bogus on here a lot more often-just for Joshy poo.

sorry

Okay everybody, I was reading over my blog and noticed that I spelled Hanuka like that, which is incorrect. It's actually Hanukkah, so I apologize to anybody who noticed and now thinks that it's spelled that way. My apologies.

Merry Christmas everybody! Or should I say, Happy Holidays? Isn't it practically illegal now to say Merry Christmas because a few pathetic people are offended by it? Seriously, who and where are these people? I'd like to send them a box of dead kittens. Whatever happened to the freedom of religion and speech, hmm? Where are our constitutional rights? A few picky people speak up and put something ridiculous on the plate like this and now we aren't allowed to even say two simple words to express our happiness for the season. Way to ruin Christmas.
I understand that not everybody celebrates Christmas, and I respect that. Just as long as they respect my views, too. I celebrate Christmas and like telling the public to have a good one. There has to be input from either sides in order to maintain balance. There is no need to do something drastic like banning "Merry Christmas" in schools and businesses to make a few illogical floozies content. My advice, learn to live with the Christmas, Hanuka, Kwanzaa, or any more winter traditions of others as they have yours.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
